In and around Würzburg

Randersacker is close to the historic university city of Würzburg and easy to reach along the river Main. As well as being an attractive shopping destination, Würzburg is also a vibrant cultural centre with many sights worth visiting, including the famous Hofgarten, the Juliusspital hospital (founded in 1576) and Marienberg Castle. Follow in the footsteps of Würzburg’s most famous sons: Walther von der Vogelweide, Tilman Riemenschneider and the architect Balthasar Neumann - his Residenz, one of the most splendid palaces in the whole of Europe, must surely be top of anyone’s itinerary.

Also just a few miles away is Veitshöchheim with its exquisite landscaped Hofgarten, a masterpiece of Franconian Rococo. And for exquisite natural beauty, the forest region of Spessart - just half an hour’s drive west of the city – will take some beating. Just a few of the many excellent reasons to visit us here in ‘Franken’.
